Groundworkers

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for reliable Groundworkers - Highways and Infrastructure to join our Infrastructure and Highways teams on a busy project in Bristol. You will support a range of general groundworks activities, helping deliver safe and high-quality projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting
• Assisting with externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required
• Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers
• Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman
• Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules
• Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

• CSCS Labourer/Groundworker card or equivalent, with proven site experience
• Confident carrying out general groundworks tasks under supervision
• Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

• CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Ride-On Roller
• CAT & Genny ticket
• Safety Critical Medical

Please note: To comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
