Groundworker Supervisor
Overview
Due to growth we are currently for a Groundworker Supervisor on behalf of one of the UK''s fastest-growing renewable energy and electrical infrastructure companies.
Established over 10 years, they specialise in Solar PV, solar battery storage, and EV charging systems, managing every stage from initial design and planning through to installation and maintenance.
They do a lot of work for automotive dealerships including BMW, Volvo and Peugeot. They also do work on retail parks, farms, manufacturers, charging forecourts, hotels and within the educational sector.
As the Groundworker Supervisor you will lead groundworks teams delivering electrical infrastructure, EV charging and utility projects nationwide. Ideal for an experienced supervisor with utilities, civils or infrastructure experience.
This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying -47,840 per annum. Perks include company van which can be used for private use, overtime, pension, career progression, industry-leading training and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You will also receive a day off on your birthday. The company are based in Hull but the majority of the work is working away.
Responsibilities
- Supervising site teams.
- Managing excavation and reinstatement works.
- Utility ducting and trenching.
- Programme and resource management.
- Site safety and compliance.
- Client and stakeholder liaison.
- Material and plant coordination.
- Quality control inspections.
Skills & Attributes
- Utilities or infrastructure experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- CPCS/NPORS Machinery.
- NRSWA qualification preferred.
- SSSTS or SMSTS desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to travel.
- Full UK driving licence.
