      <description>Location: Aberdeen | Salary: &amp;pound;26 - &amp;pound;27/hour | Type: Contract | We are looking for an experienced  Groundworkers  for a 7-month infrastructure project in the Shetland Islands.  The project involves approximately  1,500 metres of large open-cut trenching through fields and peatland , installing  three 8-inch power ducts and fibre optic cables , plus a further  2,400 metres of trenching along a carriageway , including  tarmac reinstatement .   Requirements:     Experience laying/reinstating tarmac is essential   Previous utilities, ducting, trenching or infrastructure experience preferred  Fit and capable of working on a demanding outdoor project  Reliable and able to commit to the full rotation  References required from previous employers  Relevant CPCS/NPORS qualification required    11 days on / 4 days off , with  travel to and from Shetland and accommodation paid for by the client .
