Groundworker

Main job: Carry out groundwork tasks on a Carbon Capture facility new build, working to NVQ Level 2 standards, including earthworks, drainage, and basic civils. Key Responsibilities 1. Ground prep: Clear land, set out levels, mark areas 2. Excavation: Dig trenches, lay pipes, spread hardcore 3. Drainage and civils: Install kerbs, manholes, basic concrete 4. Compliance: Meet BS and Carbon Capture project specs 5. Safety: Follow site rules, wear PPE, report hazards 6. Teamwork: Work with supervisors, engineers, and other trades Requirements UK 2026 - Quals: NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks or equiv - Experience: 1-2 years groundwork experience - Skills: Manual handling, basic tools, reading plans - Certs: CSCS card (labourer or operative) Typical Day - AM: Briefing, PPE check, plan tasks - Work: Dig, lay, tidy - PM: Report progress, issues ..... full job details .....
