Groundworker South West London Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time 40 hours per week Salary: £35,530 per annum Location: South West London Closing Date: 21 August 2026 at 9:00 AM Interview Date: Tuesday 25 August 2026 The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Groundworker to join an established in-house Maintenance and Repairs Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of groundwork and maintenance activities, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. A company vehicle for business use, fuel card, uniform, PPE and parking costs will be provided. The Role The role will involve carrying out a variety of groundwork and external maintenance tasks, including: Fencing Brickwork and pointing Concrete works Slabbing and paving Drainage repairs and renewals Flagging Tarmac patching Manhole repairs General groundwork and external maintenance Experience of high-pressure water jetting would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Additional trade skills and experience would also be welcomed. About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience working as a Groundworker or in a similar maintenance role. Practical experience across groundwork and external works. Experience with drainage repairs and renewals. Experience in fencing, brickwork, pointing, concrete works and slabbing.
