Groundworker ROLE: GroundworkerPAY RATE: £20 - £22 per hour Umbrella/CISCONTRACT TYPE: Temporary - 3 MonthsLOCATION: Various Locations - Belfast and County Antrim WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (40 hours per week) THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Groundworker to carry out general groundwork and construction duties across various locations in Belfast and County Antrim. The successful candidate will be responsible for site preparation, removal of existing structures, concrete works, installation of oil lines and general site clearance. The role involves using a Kango Hammer, Stihl Saw, Cement Mixer and general hand tools. There may be an opportunity for a full-time position upon completion of the temporary assignment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Remove old oil tanks and prepare areas for replacement. Break away existing concrete bases and make good. Run and install new oil lines. Shutter and prepare areas for new concrete bases. Mix and pour concrete for new bases. Use Kango Hammers, Stihl Saws, Cement Mixers and general hand tools safely. Remove redundant materials and leave sites clean and tidy. Carry out general groundwork and construction duties as required. Follow site instructions and work effectively with other trades. Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements. HEALTH, SAFETY and COMPLIANCE Follow site-specific health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
