Other duties could include - Digging trenches and excavation - Using shovels and other hand tools - Clearing the site by removing the topsoil or anything that can affect the construction process - Landscaping the site - Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance - Removing old drainage or other pipework systems - Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work - Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations - Setting up the construction site - Digging trenches and laying concrete - Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs - Using shovels and other hand tools Requirements and experience levels - Must be hard working and driven - Valid ID/Passport - Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots) - CSCS Card; Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams on busy construction sites.
