We are delighted to be working on an exclusive agency arrangement with our client as they seek to recruit a Groundsperson / Maintenance Assistant to join their friendly team, at their site based close to East Grinstead This is an excellent opportunity to join a small but busy team within a unique organisation in a beautiful rural setting. Groundsperson / Maintenance Assistant Full time permanent role. Role subject to DBS checking. Mon-Fri (Apply online only). Role based outskirts of East Grinstead. There is plenty of free parking available on site for staff. Due to rural workplace location, you will need to be a driver and have access to your own vehicle. Salary 29900 per annum. Excellent staff benefits including 6 weeks paid annual leave plus all UK bank holidays. The role: To maintain the grounds and playing fields of the School to the highest standard for the safe enjoyment of pupils, staff, visitors and guests. To assist the School maintenance team with maintenance duties as required. Duties: Mowing, edging, seeding and weeding of lawns and grassed areas. Removal of leaves during autumn and winter periods. Edging of pathways as and when necessary. Keeping hedges neat and tidy. Maintain reception area to present a good first impression to all visitors. Keep paths and walkways clear, tidy and free from obstruction or slip hazard. Ensure tools and equipment are kept secure at all times.
