Groundsperson Location: West London - Independant school Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Full-Time, PermanentVeritas Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded independent school in West London to recruit an experienced and dedicated Groundsperson.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established school environment, taking responsibility for maintaining extensive grounds, sports facilities, and outdoor spaces to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring pupils and staff benefit from first-class outdoor facilities throughout the year.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance of sports pitches, playing fields, landscaped areas, and school grounds.Upkeep and presentation of AstroTurf and synthetic sports surfaces.Safe operation and maintenance of groundskeeping machinery and equipment.Carry out seasonal maintenance programmes and improvement projects.Ensure outdoor areas remain safe, clean, and visually appealing.Support the wider estates team with general site duties as required.Essential Requirements:Previous experience working as a Groundsperson, Grounds Maintenance Operative, or in a similar role.Proven experience maintaining AstroTurf and synthetic sports surfaces.Synthetic Sports Surface Maintenance training (essential).Knowledge of sports pitch maintenance and grounds care best practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high ..... full job details .....
