Grounds Maintenance Operative with Strimmer ticket

V-Recruit are looking for 1 x Grounds Maintenance Operative, with Strimmer tickets (Lantra/NPTC/NPORS etc) to start work for a client based in the Castleford area.

The start date is Monday 28th July

Your duties will include;

• Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns and green areas.
• Devegetation and maintenance duties on canal banks and other environmental agency areas.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform groundskeeping duties.
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is required, with in date strimming tickets.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to gardening equipment is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to grounds maintenance tasks.
• We will require references

-14 per hour

40+ hours per week, Monday to Friday

Approximately 6 weeks, although this has the potential to be extended
