C1 licence entitlement on Full UK Driving licence and CPC qualification is essential - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE PLEASE Duties:Carry out routine pruning, trimming, and shaping of shrubs, hedges, and small trees in public spaces such as parks, estates, highways, and council buildingsMaintain vegetation to agreed standards, specifications, and seasonal schedulesUse hand tools and powered equipment (e.g. secateurs, hedge trimmers, brush cutters) safely and competentlyRemove green waste and ensure work areas are left clean, tidy, and safeIdentify basic plant health issues, pests, or diseases and report concerns to supervisorsFollow health and safety procedures, including PPE use and risk assessmentsWork safely near the public, roads, and footpaths, ensuring public safety at all timesAssist with other grounds maintenance tasks when required (e.g. weeding, grass cutting, leaf clearance, planting)Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and vehiclesWork as part of a team and take instruction from supervisors while also completing tasks independentlyRecord completed work and report defects, incidents, or damaged equipmentSupport council policies on environmental sustainability and biodiversity ASAP - URGENT START DATE: TUESDAY 7TH JULY 17.50 per hour via UmbrellaC1 licence entitlement on Full UK Driving licence is essential4-6 weeksFleet and street scene Street SceneDepot Lane Green RoadBilbrookWV8 1LP Start time 7amBreak times : 10am ish 10minsLunch Time : 12:30pm ..... full job details .....
