Grounds Maintenance OperativePay Rate : 16.07 per hour We are looking for a reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a mobile maintenance team. You''ll be working across a variety of sites within a local region, helping to keep outdoor spaces tidy, safe, and well maintained throughout the year.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, weeding, and planting.Complete seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance, gritting, and snow clearance when required.Safely operate a range of grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, strimmers, and blowers.Follow site-specific schedules and instructions to maintain high standards of work.Communicate professionally with customers and members of the public.Use a mobile app to update job statuses and upload photos of completed work.RequirementsPrevious experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or gardening is preferred.Basic plant knowledge and practical horticultural skills.Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.Full UK driving licence preferred.PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates are desirable.HoursMonday to Friday7:00am - 4:00pm (hours may vary seasonally)ContractImmediate start available.Initial contract until the end of October, with the opportunity for a permanent position subject to business requirements.If you''re hardworking, enjoy working outdoors, and ..... full job details .....
