Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, W14 9PT Hourly Rate: 14.80 Contract type: Temp - Perm Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per weekAbout the roleManpower are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based out of Hammersmith and Fulham. Working in this role you will be working on Parks or Cemeteries across the area. Working within a team you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance too name a few. You will need to ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day to day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.To succeed, you will need: To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Valid UK Driving Licence required.Willingness to learn and open to training with a safety conscious mindset.Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmer''s, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.)Able to work effectively within a busy team environment and take pride in delivering excellent service.Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is desirable.Experience using pedestrian and ride-on mowers would be an advantage.
