About the role
We are looking for experienced Groundworkers to join our growing team to carry out a wide range of civil engineering and groundworks activities safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The role involves supporting the delivery of construction and maintenance projects within the Grangemouth petrochemical plant.
Requirements
- Excavate, backfill, and reinstate trenches and excavations.
- Install/repair drainage systems, ducting, chambers and kerbs.
- Lay and compact sub-base, aggregates, and surfacing materials.
- Construct concrete foundations, slabs, bases, and structural elements.
- Carry out various small civil maintenance repairs
- Assist with formwork, reinforcement placement, and concrete pours.
- Maintain safe working areas with good housekeeping standards.
- Carry out manual handling tasks in accordance with safe working practices.
- Support emergency and reactive maintenance works when required.
Qualifications
- CSCS card (Training can be provided)
- CPCS or NPORS plant cards (desirable)
- Full driving licence (desirable)
