Grounds Maintenance Operative

Your New Role We have a fantastic opportunity for Permanent Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our Scottish Grounds Maintenance Account in Inverkeithing, Fife. Our Scottish Grounds Maintenance Account works in partnership with other Amey accounts to internally deliver grounds maintenance services. Our primary work stream involves the delivery of grounds maintenance services on behalf of our facility management colleagues in Secure Infrastructure. This work involves all the planned grounds maintenance activities across 70 school sites nationally. These sites are spread over 6 local authority locations, including Borders, Clackmannanshire, Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Renfrewshire. In addition to planned maintenance, we also deliver winter and responsive works services. The accounts other main activity is to deliver internal vegetation management on behalf of NMCSW and NMCNE highways contracts. Grounds Maintenance Operative plays an important part to provide general maintenance, such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, verges, and litter services in the Inverkeithing area. The standard hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
