This is a physical, outdoor role where your work will directly contribute to keeping Croydon''s green spaces well-maintained and safe for public use.Key ResponsibilitiesGrass cutting across parks, open spaces, and highway vergesOperating machinery such as strimmers, brush cutters, and pedestrian mowersUsing hand or backpack blowers to clear grass and debrisHedge cutting, pruning, and general plant maintenanceWeeding and removal of basal growth from treesSupporting a range of grounds maintenance tasks as part of a small teamWhat We''re Looking ForExperience in grounds maintenance or horticultural work (desirable but not essential)Ability to safely operate equipment such as strimmers, hedge cutters, and mowersPhysically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsReliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a teamA proactive and hardworking approach to dutiesLocationDaily start and finish at Central Nursery Depot, Conduit Lane ..... full job details .....
