Grounds Maintenance OperativeLocation: North DenbighshirePay Rate: £14.13 per hourHours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am 3:30pmNo weekend workWe are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the Street Scene team based out of the Rhyl Depot. This is a great opportunity to become part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining and improving public spaces across Denbighshire.Key Responsibilities: Travelling to various sites across DenbighshireOperating ride-on mowers to maintain grassed areasUsing strimmers, hedge cutters, and pedestrian mowersGeneral grounds maintenance including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and pruningLitter picking and ensuring public areas are clean and presentableAssisting with planting, landscaping, and seasonal workBasic maintenance of tools and equipmentAdhering to health and safety procedures at all timesSupporting other Street Scene duties as required (e.g. leaf clearance, weed control) The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold a full UK driving licenceHave previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor roleBe comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsBe reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamHave a good understanding of health and safety practices Desirable Qualifications / Tickets: Ride-on mower certificationPA1 and PA6 (pesticide application licences)Brushcutter / strimmer certification (e.g. NPTC/LANTRA)Trailer towing licence (B+E) To apply, please call Hexagon on ..... full job details .....
