-14.00 per hour (40 hours per week)

Full time, seasonal, temp to perm

Our client look after canal waterways across London and the Home Counties.-

Due to the time of year and season, they have an increase in grounds maintenance work along the canal networks.

Applicants must hold a full, manual driving licence, be physically fit enough to walk several kilometres per day and enjoy working outdoors in all weathers.-

These are seasonal opportunities to run through spring, summer and autumn but may lead to securing permanent employment all year round.-

Duties:

• Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers and strimmers
• Leaf clearance
• Driving a 3.5tn company van from one location to another
• Clearing canals of debris and litter
• Litter picking and sweeping of footpaths
• Emptying bins and replacing bin bags

Essential:

• Full, manual, UK driving licence
• A good team player
• The ability to build strong working relationships
• Be fit enough to walk several kilometres per day-
• Reliable and an excellent timekeeper
