One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance and Street Cleansing Manager on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview: To ensure the delivery of public realm services of the borough are maintained to a good standard which includes grounds maintenance (grass cutting and vegetation management) and street cleansing. Oversee management of the boroughs open spaces, sports facilities and play areas to ensure their safety and accessibility to users and undertake cemetery provision. To proactively manage the contractors and delivered services to provide a good customer experience and sound financial management.
