Ground Trials Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Ground Trials Engineer to join its Integration and System Validation team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to contribute to a major future-facing programme, supporting system safety proving plans and complex test activities across a range of engineering disciplines.Key Responsibilities:Supporting the development and implementation of long-term system safety proving plans and ground trialsCarrying out technical, engineering and scientific activities, including the analysis and interpretation of technical informationContributing to Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives trials and testing activitiesSupporting testing across areas such as Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), mechanical and climatic performance, engine testing and chemical analysisApplying engineering knowledge to identify solutions, improve processes and support innovative test approachesWorking collaboratively with internal teams, specialist engineers and UK, French and Italian national authoritiesCommunicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesTaking responsibility for the quality, value and timely delivery of work undertakenJob Requirements:Experience in engineering, trials or testing within a technical, scientific or defence-related environmentKnowledge of Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental testing or Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)Practical ..... full job details .....
