Location: Heathrow

Salary: £49,000 - 4 on 4 off

Hours: 40 hours per week, typically between 8am – 6pm. From time to time you may be required to respond to a call out – for each call out attended to between hours of 6pm – 8am you will receive £50 and an hourly payment rate of time and a half (including travel to and from call-out location). There are 33 days holiday.

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Main Accountabilities:

• Planned maintenance.
• Periodic statutory inspections.
• Breakdown repairs and fault finding.
• Fire system inspections.
• Thorough examinations (LOLER)
• Technical support.
• You will be working on a range of support equipment which may involve vehicles and plant equipment.

Skills:

• The successful candidate will have proven experience in the repair and maintenance of either Ground Support Equipment, Commercial Vehicle, Materials Handling Equipment or Plant.
• The role will provide specialist support of airport based GSE including Aircraft Deicer vehicles, and AME
