Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Barnsley, S75 3DR Hourly Rate: 12.21, changing to 12.71 in April Contract Type: Permanent, Full time Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 15:30About the role We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Barnsley, and undertake grounds maintenance tasks throughout the year. You will keep several local school grounds in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.Please note that idverde will require you to undertake an enhanced DBS check prior to starting in this role. This will be funded by idverde.RequirementsPrevious Grounds Maintenance experience is required.A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.PA1 and PA6 licenses are preferred, but not essential.Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Why join us?
