Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives Location: Newcastle Hourly Rate: 12.21, changing to 12.71 in April Contract Type: Seasonal - 7 months fixed-term contract. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 15:30About the roleWe currently require Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Newcastle to support throughout the busy spring and summer season. You will keep several local housing association sites in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.RequirementsPrevious Grounds Maintenance experience is required.A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.PA1 and PA6 licenses are preferred, but not essential.Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Why join us?As the UK''s leading grounds maintenance and landscape creation provider, no two projects are ever the same - and neither are our people.
