Grounds Maintenance Operative

Hourly Rate: £12.21
Contract type: Full time, Seasonal - 5 months fixed-term contract
Working hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:30, Friday 07:00-13:00

Manpower are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based out of Loughborough. Working in this role you will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality ground''s maintenance service to a range of clients throughout the local area. Working within a team you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance too name a few. You will need to ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day to day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.

The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.

Requirements

• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required and experience of using related grounds maintenance tools and equipment, including pedestrian and ride on mowers, strimmers and leaf blowers.
• A full valid UK driving license is essential.
• PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
