Job title: Ground andamp; Landscape Maintenance Operative (Machine Driver)
Location: Honiton, Devon, covering the South West
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 Dependant on experience (hourly pay of £13-15 plus Overtime opportunities)
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Mon - Fri 40 hours. Days andamp; Nights dependant on rota
About the role
We are looking for skilled andamp; enthusiastic GM andamp; Landscape Operatives in the Devon andamp; Dorset region to carry out important Highways work. You will need to have experience and be confident and qualified to drive agricultural vehicles. You will be responsible for hedge cutting and verge trimming on main roads across the region to maintain and transform outdoor spaces. Working as part of a team under the supervision of a Team Leader, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Reporting remotely to the Staverton depot, your work will be based around Honiton A30/35 andamp; wider region.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tractor Driver or similar role in the agricultural sector is highly desirable.
- General Grounds Maintenance machine work e.g. robot andamp; ride on mowers, strimmers etc.
- Ability to operate and manoeuvre mechanised hedge / verge cutter machinery andamp; other equipment.
- Digging tickets beneficial
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- A full valid UK driving licence is essential - (category B) is preferred (covering categories F (agricultural tractors) andamp; K (mowing machines or pedestrian controlled vehicles).
- CSCS card is preferred but can be obtained prior to start if able to pass certification successfully (andamp; subject to signing a training agreement)
