Grinding OperativeLocation: BathSalary: 33,000- 36,000 DOEContract: Permanent, Full-TimeHours: Days Monday to FridayWe are recruiting for a Grinding Operative to join an established precision engineering business. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with high-precision components where accuracy, quality and attention to detail are essential.The RoleAs a Grinding Operative, you will be responsible for producing and finishing precision-engineered components to drawing and specification. You will operate grinding equipment to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality finishes, carrying out inspections throughout the manufacturing process.Your responsibilities will include:Operating grinding machinery to manufacture precision componentsSetting and adjusting machinery as requiredWorking from engineering drawings and technical specificationsChecking components using precision measuring equipmentWorking accurately to tight dimensional tolerancesCarrying out in-process and final inspectionIdentifying and reporting any quality issuesMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working areaFollowing company quality and health and safety proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for someone with experience in a precision engineering or machining environment. Previous grinding experience would be advantageous, but candidates with a strong background in CNC milling or CNC turning may also be considered, particularly where they have experience working to tight tolerances and engineering ..... full job details .....
