Monday - Thursday 06:00-14:30, Friday 06:00-11:30

Salary -16.8017.31 including 17.5% shift allowance

Permanent - Full Time

We are looking for experienced hot forge setter/operator who can be left alone to get the job done. This is working for a well-established busy engineering company in a clean and relaxed environment.

What you will be doing

• Set/find fault/operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
• Use gauges, micrometres, shadow graphs to ensure part conform to the drawing
• Prove out programs so they''re in line with the correct timings
• Train on all machines
• Self-certification of personal work
• Keep computer files/paperwork accurate/up to date
• Actively take part in continuous improvement teams
• Housekeeping - to the highest standards

To be considered

• Experience operating RSS & Okuma experience or any external grinding experience
• Experience working in busy manufacturing environment
• Experience setting grinding machines
• Aerospace experience would be advantageous
