      <description>Location: Kildare | Salary: &amp;pound;60000 - &amp;pound;90000/annum | Type: Permanent | The Role     Our client is hiring a Principal Grid Engineer. The Principal Grid Engineer provides technical authority and senior leadership for transmission and distribution grid connection activities across the renewable energy portfolio. The role provides strategic leadership in the development, optimisation and delivery of grid infrastructure associated with renewable generation, energy storage and large demand customer projects.  The role leads complex engineering studies, supports grid strategy development, manages critical technical interfaces with stakeholders and ensures compliance with all relevant Grid Code, connection policy and regulatory requirements.
