Grid Compliance Manager

Power engineering arm of a FTSE 250 company requires a Grid Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. The Grid Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading the organisation''s grid compliance strategy, making sure all projects undertaken meet regulatory standards. The role is available on a hybrid basis. Role: Lead all aspects of grid compliance, including policies, processes, and audit preparation Maintain compliance matrices Conduct or supervise, review and sign off power systems analysis - studies, load flow studies etc Lead grid compliance review meetings Be the main technical contact for DNOs, IDNOs, TSOs etc Manage all consents and agreements, such as Connections Offers Keep detailed records of all grid compliance evidence - activities and approvals etc Create grid compliance reports, plans and risk assessments Track grid compliance against project milestones Represent the company at industry meetings and events / forums Experience: Strong technical background in high voltage (HV) engineering, covering power systems design (including relevant software, such as DigSilent, ETAP, PSSE, PSCAD) Knowledge of grid code / ENA G99 Experience of grid integration projects Track record in producing and reviewing HV engineering studies Driving licence Excellent opportunity for a Power Systems Engineer or Grid Compliance Engineer looking to take on a new challenge with a thriving organisation.
