      <description>Location: London | Salary: 28.00-28.00 Hourly | Type: Temporary | We are looking for an organised, customer-focused Grants Officer to join our Adult Adaptations team. This is an exciting opportunity to support disabled and vulnerable adults to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.As a Grants Officer, you will manage Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) and other housing adaptation grants, guiding applicants through the process from initial enquiry to grant approval and completion. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists, surveyors, contractors, and other professionals to ensure adaptations are delivered efficiently and in line with legislation and local policies.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess applications for Disabled Facilities Grants and other adaptation grants.Assess grant eligibility in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures.Liaise with applicants, their families, Occupational Therapists, surveyors, contractors, and partner agencies throughout the adaptations process.Calculate grant entitlement and prepare approvals in line with financial and legal requirements.Monitor grant expenditure and maintain accurate financial and case records.Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant before grants ...</description>
