Grants Officer
Harris Hill is delighted to be recruiting for a Grants Officer on behalf of a growing and entrepreneurial charity supporting high-value philanthropy and grant-making in the UK and internationally. Location: Central London (Hybrid - 2 days office / 2 days home working)Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + bonusesContract: Full-time, Permanents This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced grant-maker with strong knowledge of UK charity law and grant-making compliance. You''ll manage a varied portfolio of grants, undertake due diligence, and help deliver funding that creates meaningful impact. Key responsibilities Assess and review grant requests in line with compliance requirements. Conduct due diligence and make balanced funding recommendations. Manage UK and international grant portfolios, including complex cases. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Keep up to date with charity law and sector developments. Support the continuous improvement of grant-making processes. Assist with impact reporting and represent the organisation at events where required. About you You will have: At least three years'' experience in a UK grant-making or philanthropic organisation. Strong knowledge of UK charity law and Charity Commission guidance. Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
