Grant Funding Manager (Sustainability)London BridgeUp to £47,000PermanentHyde is looking to recruit a Grant Funding Manager.Hyde is a leading provider of affordable homes, dedicated to helping people access safe and high-quality housing. With a strong focus on community impact, we work to create sustainable, thriving neighbourhoods while supporting our customers build better futures.As a Grant Funding Manager at Hyde you will be working within the Energy and Sustainability team to secure, manage and report on external funding for energy retrofit and sustainability programmes. You’ll work across teams to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned to Hyde’s environmental targets and funding compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify relevant grant opportunities to support Hyde’s energy efficiency and retrofit initiativesPrepare and submit high-quality grant applications in collaboration with internal stakeholdersManage awarded grants, ensuring full compliance with financial, delivery, and reporting requirementsCollaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to support budgeting, specifications, and contract documentationLiaise with external stakeholders such as the Greener Futures Partnership to manage joint initiatives and drawdown of fundingLead on data collection for Hyde’s carbon and SHIFT reporting, working closely with internal and external stakeholdersSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in writing and managing grant applications, ideally within sustainability or energy efficiencyExperience managing retrofit projects, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with objectivesGood understanding of sustainability funding schemes and retrofit project deliveryStrong financial planning, budget management, and Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and reporting requirementsConfident communicator with experience engaging a range of internal and external stakeholdersUnderstanding of carbon accounting and reporting on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is desirableUnderstanding of PAS 2035 is desirableLife assuranceGreat holidaysAn award-winning flexible benefits packageAt Hyde, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
