As part of a planned succession strategy, you''ll work closely with the current Grain Trader, gaining hands-on experience of the business, its customers and trading approach. You''ll be responsible for buying and selling grain, negotiating contracts and identifying opportunities within the market. The role also includes involvement in the sale of agricultural inputs, including fertiliser, helping to provide a complete service to customers. While primarily office-based, regular farm visits and attendance at agricultural events are an important part of the role. Building strong relationships and understanding customers'' businesses will be key to your success. Role Overview Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, merchants and customers through regular visits and communication.
