Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing and well-regarded transport planning consultancy in their search for a Graduate Transport Planner.

This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career within a dynamic SME, offering a structured 12-18 month graduate programme and exposure to a wide range of development projects across the UK.

You''ll work alongside experienced Transport Planners and Civil Engineers, supporting planning applications for new and regenerated developments. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans
• Supporting site layout, access, and parking design
• Analysing transport impacts and infrastructure capacity
• Reviewing planning policy and contributing to sustainable travel strategies
• Attending client meetings and site visits

You''ll gain hands-on consultancy experience, working on multiple projects while also contributing to wider business activities such as marketing and development.

• Degree educated (relevant subject preferred)
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Interest in transport, planning, and the built environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (knowledge of TRICS/CAD beneficial)
