Graduate Trainee Accountant

Reed are supporting a local highly successful regional practice to recruit a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their growing financial reporting and outsourcing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or individual looking to begin a professional career in accounting.No previous accounting experience is required. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in finance and accounting, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided, including study support towards a professional accounting qualification.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the preparation of accounts for a range of clientsSupporting the completion of bookkeeping and VAT returnsAssisting with tax compliance work for individuals and businessesProcessing financial information and maintaining accurate client recordsReconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accountsLiaising with clients to obtain information and documentation when requiredSupporting senior team members with day-to-day accounting assignmentsLearning accounting software and developing technical accounting knowledgeEnsuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlinesAbout YouA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related subject would be highly advantageous or someone with strong Alevels who has started their AAT.Strong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsGood written ..... full job details .....
