A highly regarded planning consultancy is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a supportive and commercially focused environment, working on a wide range of exciting projects across the region.

The Role
You will be part of an experienced planning team, supporting the delivery of high-quality planning advice across sectors including residential, mixed-use, and strategic land development. The role offers hands-on experience and exposure to all stages of the planning process.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy research
• Supporting the production of planning statements and reports
• Engaging with local authorities, clients, and external consultants
• Monitoring planning policy and legislative updates

About You

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
• Strong interest in working towards MRTPI accreditation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• A proactive and professional approach
• Previous planning experience (placement or internship) is beneficial but not essential
