Graduate Teaching Assistant - Ideal for Aspiring Teachers

Are you a recent/upcoming graduate with a passion for education?
If you''re considering a future in teaching and want to gain meaningful experience in the classroom, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a full-time role supporting secondary school students in a dynamic West London school.



The Opportunity:

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Graduates to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Kilburn as a Teaching Assistant. You''ll work closely with students aged 11-18, supporting them in lessons and across the curriculum. This is a fantastic first step for graduates who are serious about progressing into teacher training or are considering working within education.



Your Role Will Involve:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups with classwork, homework, and revision

  • Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

  • Offering targeted support to students who may need extra help grasping key concepts

  • Contributing to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and enrichment







What We''re Looking For:

  • A degree in a range of subjects (minimum lower second)

  • A genuine interest in working with young people and in education

  • Some experience with secondary-aged pupils - e.g., through tutoring, mentoring, summer schools, or previous TA work

  • A confident communicator with good organisational skills

  • A proactive, positive, and reliable approach
