The Role:
Provide day-to-day classroom support across a KS2 class, working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and as part of whole-class learning. You will help reinforce learning in English, Maths, and wider curriculum subjects, support class routines, prepare simple resources, and work closely with the class teacher to keep pupils engaged and making progress.
The Candidate:
You are organised, encouraging, and able to explain ideas clearly to older primary pupils. You want meaningful school-based experience, enjoy helping children build confidence in their learning, and are keen to develop the practical classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
