Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester Are you a recent graduate with aspirations of becoming a primary school teacher? A high-achieving Catholic primary school in Manchester is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a setting with outstanding academic results and excellent pupil behaviour. *** Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant *** £90 - £100 Per day *** September 2025 until July 2026 *** Catholic Primary School, Manchester *** Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 with classroom learning and small group interventions The Role In this role, you will work alongside experienced teachers supporting in lessons and provide tailored support to pupils on a 1-2-1 and group basis. Your responsibilities will include helping to deliver engaging activities, leading small group booster sessions, and supporting individual pupils in both literacy and numeracy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand classroom experience ahead of a teacher training course. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in education. You will be an excellent communicator, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with young learners. While experience working with children is desirable, it is not essential.
