Graduate Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a range of excellent secondary schools across North London. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and want to gain hands-on classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or other educational careers.The RoleAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers across the school. You will work closely with pupils to help raise attainment, improve confidence, and create a positive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.Providing 1:1 support for students who require additional academic or pastoral assistance.Building positive relationships with students and helping them overcome barriers to learning.Delivering small-group intervention sessions to improve student progress.Supporting pupils with SEN, behavioural, emotional, or academic needs.Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.Contributing to extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs and enrichment programmes.Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.What We''re Looking ForThe successful candidate will:Hold a degree (any subject considered).Have a genuine interest in education and working with young people.Be considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, youth ..... full job details .....
