Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - Northamptonshire

08.30am - 3.30pm Monday To Friday

Term Time Only

I am working with a well-regarded school in Northamptonshire that is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a strong opportunity for a graduate who is serious about building a career in education and gaining meaningful classroom experience.

You will play a key role in supporting teaching staff and ensuring students are engaged, supported, and making progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting lesson preparation and delivery alongside the class teacher
• Assisting with classroom management to maintain a focused learning environment
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting marking and classroom administration
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

• A degree (education or a related subject preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children or young people is advantageous
• Well-organised, with good attention to detail
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when needed
