Hours: 8:15am - 4:15pm, Monday to Friday

Are you a motivated graduate with a passion for working with children and a long-term goal of becoming a teacher?

A two-form entry primary school in Ealing is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand classroom experience while supporting pupils in a well-structured, forward-thinking environment.

Working closely with the class teacher, you will help deliver engaging learning activities, provide targeted intervention, and support the academic and emotional development of pupils as they transition from Early Years to Key Stage 1.

About the Role:

• Full-time, term-time only

• Based in a Year 1 classroom

• Opportunity to assist with whole-class support, small group work, and 1:1 pupil support

• Ideal for graduates planning to pursue a PGCE, School Direct, or similar route into teaching

• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Is reliable, punctual, and well-organised

• Can engage positively with pupils and contribute to a stimulating learning environment

• Has some experience working with children (through school placements, volunteering, tutoring, etc.)
