Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of welcoming secondary schools in Corby that are looking for ambitious graduates to join them as Aspiring Teachers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience in education, develop your confidence in the classroom, and build the skills needed for a successful teaching career.

Whether you''re planning to apply for a PGCE, School Direct, or another teacher training route in the future, this role will provide valuable insight into life in a secondary school.

As an Aspiring Teacher, you''ll work closely with teachers and students across the school, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects

• Delivering targeted interventions to small groups and individual learners

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

• Encouraging student engagement and academic progress

• Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment

• Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

• Developing your understanding of teaching, learning, and classroom practice

This role is ideal for graduates who:

• Hold a degree in any subject area

• Are considering a future career in teaching

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Are enthusiastic, resilient, and eager to learn

• Enjoy working with young people and supporting their development

• Have experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
