Graduate Structural Engineer

A friendly, well-established Engineering Consultancy based just outside Leeds City Centre is looking to welcome a Graduate Structural Engineer into their team. They''ve built a strong reputation over many years and work across a really varied mix of projects, including some more niche schemes, which makes it a great place to get broad and interesting experience early on.This would suit someone at the start of their career who''s keen to learn, build confidence and gradually take on more responsibility. You won''t be thrown in at the deep end here - instead, you''ll be supported by experienced engineers who are happy to guide you, answer questions and help you develop at your own pace.You''ll get involved in a bit of everything, from helping with calculations and drawings through to supporting reports and occasionally getting out on site. It''s a good opportunity to see how projects come together from the early design stages right through to construction, rather than being stuck doing one small part of the process.Over time, you''ll start to build your understanding of how structures are designed using materials like steel, concrete, timber and masonry, while getting to grips with UK standards and best practice.
