Graduate Town PlannerLocation: WinchesterSalary: 27,000/ 30,000Are you a recent Planning graduate looking to start your career within an established and growing planning consultancy?I''m currently recruiting for a Graduate Town Planner opportunity in Winchester, offering the chance to gain hands-on experience across a varied range of planning projects and develop your career within a supportive and experienced team.ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning applications from submission through to determinationSupport site appraisals and assessments of development potentialAssist with pre-application submissions and planning strategyUndertake planning research and provide support with planning policy mattersAssist with planning appeals and written representationsSupport site promotion and Local Plan representationsAssist with community engagement and consultation activitiesAttend site visits, meetings and discussions with clients and local authoritiesSupport project management and coordination with wider consultant teamsPrepare planning documents, reports and supporting informationGain exposure to projects across residential, care, education, commercial and town-centre sectorsRequirementsA degree in Town Planning or a related disciplineIdeally working towards or interested in pursuing RTPI accreditationStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood research and analytical abilitiesA genuine interest in planning and the built environmentAbility to work effectively both ..... full job details .....
