Graduate Security Consultant / Penetration Tester Bristol £28,000-£34,000 About the role Our client is looking for a motivated graduate to join a cyber consultancy team in Bristol, beginning a career in security consulting and penetration testing with structured mentorship and training from day one. This is a genuine entry point into the industry, with exposure to real client engagements and a clear path to develop into a penetration tester or security consultant. Key Responsibilities Carry out security assessments and vulnerability scans across client systems, networks and application. Take part in penetration testing engagements under guidance and supervision, helping identify and exploit vulnerabilities in client environments. Analyse security risks and contribute to recommendations to help clients strengthen their security posture. Keep up to date with relevant security regulations and compliance standards and support clients in meeting them. Produce clear, well-structured reports covering findings, assessments and recommended actions. Communicate findings to clients in an accessible way, including to non-technical stakeholders. Support incident response activities and handling procedures. Continuously develop knowledge of security tools, techniques and emerging trends. Requirements Experience with Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap or other security testing tools. Bachelor''s degree, ideally in a STEM subject.
