      <description>Location: Oxfordshire | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | We are looking for a motivated- Graduate-Scientist- to support laboratory research focused on advanced materials for a clean tech, start-up company. This is a- lab-based role , ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on experimental work and contributing to cutting-edge technology development.  -   Responsibilities   Carry out routine laboratory experiments to support R&amp;D and technology development.  Follow rigorous health, safety, quality and environmental standards, including COSHH and risk assessments.  Plan day-to-day laboratory activities effectively in support of wider scientific objectives.  Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy experimental and quality records.  Communicate experimental progress and results clearly, both verbally and electronically.   About You   Experience working in a laboratory-based environment.  A degree in Chemistry, Applied Science or another relevant scientific discipline is desirable.  Experience with experimental planning would also be advantageous.
