Would you like to join a Graduate trainee programme as a Consultant for a leading independent integrated communications agency? You will be working in a small team across the Financial and Professional Services sectors.About the TeamWe are made up of communications professionals across every facet of the marcoms mix. We pride ourselves on working hard to deliver results for our clients. We are a close-knit team and everyone mucks in. This means we might be providing strategic advice to a client’s CEO one minute and compiling a media coverage report the next.We have ambitious plans to grow, including overseas, with offices in the US and Asia. We are looking to hire a full-time graduate trainee, initially titled Consultant.Salary and BenefitsThe salary will be £25,000 with an annual tax-free bonus of £3,600. There may be additional performance bonuses based on work quality.Our client interactions require discretion, high standards, and timeliness. Attributes for success include presentation skills, accuracy, and willingness to seek help when needed.About the roleThe role comprises three main parts:Administration and organisationYou will support the PR team by managing shared information, assisting with proposals, pitches, media databases, press cuttings, and client reports. You will also oversee relationships with suppliers and manage media management aspects like horizon scanning.Client account managementYou will join 2-3 client account teams, learning client relationship management and day-to-day deliverables.You will be trained in account and relationship management, understanding client operations and message strategies.Tasks include drafting press releases, attending meetings, media interviews, compiling reports, and organizing client activities.Graduate trainee programmeThe structured two-year training will cover writing, journalist relations, social media, financials, legal training, crisis communications, and international media management.Administrative tasks include:Monitoring media coverage, producing reports, maintaining media lists, issuing press releases, supporting research, creating social media content, managing industry calendars, and timesheet ..... full job details .....
