An Edinburgh-based client is seeking a Graduate RF Engineer to join their growing engineering team and help design, test, and integrate next-generation RF systems for satellite communications.
You''ll work across the full product lifecycle—from requirements capture to lab testing—while learning from experienced RF, digital, and mechanical engineers.
As a Graduate RF Engineer, you will be involved in:
- Supporting RF system design, simulation, and component selection
- Contributing to requirements management, compliance tracking, and documentation
- Perform lab testing with VNAs, spectrum analysers, and other equipment
- Assist with algorithm development for RF control and signal processing
To be considered for the Graduate RF Engineer opportunity, you must have:
- Strong understanding of RF & microwave principles
- Analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
- Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, CST, SystemVue)
- PCB design experience (e.g., Altium)
- Programming/scripting in Python, Matlab, or similar
