We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor seeking a motivated Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The Role

You''ll support the commercial team with the day-to-day management of civil engineering projects, gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with cost reporting and forecasting.

- Supporting subcontractor procurement and payments.

- Preparing valuations and variations.

- Assisting with cost value reconciliations (CVRs).

- Working with NEC contracts.

- Supporting commercial administration and project documentation.

- Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.

- Graduate or Assistant QS experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or groundworks.

- Exposure to NEC contracts is highly desirable.

- Full UK Driving Licence.
